Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

FREE SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN:

Meals Will Be Provided at the Following School Sites for Children 18 Years and Younger

Rowland Unified School District is happy to announce that it will sponsor the Seamless Summer Option Meal Program for children. Free meals will be made available to all children who are 18 years of age and younger in accordance with Federal Law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy. Families can locate the nearest site offering Seamless Summer Meals by utilizing the "CA Meals for Kids" phone app. For more information on the Seamless Summer Option Meal Program, please contact Rowland Unified School District, Nutrition Services at (626) 854-8312.

Make checks payable to: Rowland Unified School District – Nutrition Services. Please include your child’s name and school on the check.

Parents can also add to to their students' accounts online by going to MySchoolBucks.com. To set up an account, the student's name and 10-digit ID number will be required. A transaction fee of $2.49 will be charged.
